THE PRINCIPAL
TAMMY WHITE
Before becoming a lawyer, Tammy’s career took her on some pretty interesting paths. With a degree in Modern Asian Studies, she first worked in Papua New Guinea and then in the Northern Territory as a journalist.

Life brought her to Walgett in North Western NSW, where she continued journalism before stepping into the legal world as a Paralegal at Browne, Jeppesen & Sligar.
During that time, she not only completed her Law Degree but also helped run the family farm — a true juggling act!
Now, with more than twenty years of legal practice behind her, Tammy has built strong experience across Family Law, Criminal Law, Rural Issues, Conveyancing, Civil Litigation, and Children’s matters. What drives her most is helping people navigate life’s challenges with clarity, care, and down-to-earth advice.
THE TEAM
Meet Sarah
Sarah started at Michel + White in 2021 as a paralegal before becoming a solicitor in 2022. Growing up in Quipolly, she brings a down-to-earth approach to her work and is passional about helping clients in Family Law and Wills and Estates.
Meet Jen
Jen joined Michel + White in 2019 and quickly became an integral part of the team. With a background in admin, accounts, and customer service, she brings both skill and warmth to her role. A proud Gunnedah local, she's deeply connected to the community.
Meet Ange
With 15 years' experience in legal offices across Gunnedah, Ange wears many hats as our Office Manager and paralegal. She's our go-to for all things tech and is often the first friendly face to help with enquiries.
Meet Talie
Talie is an experienced paralegal and a key part of our conveyancing team. She knows that buying or selling property can feel overwhelming, and she's dedicated to making the process smooth and stress free.
Meet Kerry
Kerry first joined us as a bookkeeper in 2023 before stepping into conveyancing in 2024. With 30 years of legal experience and a deep knowledge of the local area, she's committed to helping clients feel confident and supported through their property transactions.
